The London Classic Car Show relocated this year from the Excel,
To the fabulous Olympia, a much better venue making the show.
Plenty of great cars there this year with a good selection of Aston's too occupying space.
Lovely to see one of our restorations getting some exposure,
The Amethyst DB6 Volante being displayed on Tom Hartley's stand.

Retromobile 2020 featured some fantastic cars. We have to mention the Aston Martin DBRS9 ex Barwell Motorsport and Leo Matchitski car we recently repainted, displayed on the Dylan Miles stand looking rather menacing in its 2006 livery. Some of the highlights were a selection of great Ferrari's on the Fiskens, Kidston and Girardo stands and some truly stunning Lamborghini Miura's. |

An unbelievable 3 days of glorious sunshine for this years Goodwood Revival showcasing some of our work.
We had numerous interesting conversations about the high standard of work and level of detail on the cars and just how well they were presented with some serious enquiries from the USA, India and Europe from collectors who were more than impressed with the work we produce but also our knowledge and enthusiasm for the Aston Martin, Ferrari and Jaguar marques. We explained to them that choosing a restorer who produces the best work is only 50% of the total package, the other 50% is the rapport and feedback you get from them validating that they are the right company for you.
Negotiating a shipping container to have your car sent overseas is really just a minor logistics conversation to have to get the project moving forward with peace of mind.
As one can imagine the positive comments and compliments we received were welcomed after all the work we put into the cars and somewhat validated our place in the industry.
The Goodwood Revival is considered to be the mecca for serious petrol heads so we were delighted with the opportunity to display there this year
A fantastic event we look forward to exhibiting again at next year and can't thank my guys enough for all their efforts in the build up and during the event.

If you want to know more about us and what we do then pop along to stands 411 & 412 'over the road'

After lengthy discussions during the Spring/Summer of this year with Antony Forshaw and myself it made sense for Aston Service Dorset and Prestige Paintworks Ltd
to combine both companies exceptional knowledge and passion for this Marque and work together to cater our businesses to the private collectors of Feltham model cars up to the DB6 models to produce world class restorations from a world class team.

The annual Bonhams Aston Martin Sale held this year at the Wormsley Estate featured one of our body and paint restorations,
This 1965 Aston Martin DB5 arrived with us in Mink and without a single panel fitting like it should.
After investing 1200 hours we transformed it into a fantastic example with everything fitting and aligning as it should in the gorgeous Silver Birch.
It sold for a whopping £755k plus fees and proved that the best cars realise the best money and not a case of "typical auction fever" as some would like to think.
